I sell finished original art and also work by commission...
The commission process begins with determining the scale for the piece based on the desired placement in your home. Second, I prefer a reference to one or two pieces in my portfolio that speak to you. A photo of where it will be displayed and a sense of context can also be helpful. Paintings may have finished edges, edges wrapped with texture, or framed. We will chat about those details before I begin. Once these things have been discussed, an invoice will be sent confirming those details. A deposit of half down places your commission on my schedule.
Nearing completion, you will be sent final progress images of the piece for your approval or for final adjustments. Lead time is usually 10-12 weeks.
